Mara is a sweet and gentle soul who through no fault of her own is looking for a new home.  Watching her, you would never guess that she is almost 11 years old. Mara loves her walks, and when she's not on a walk, she likes to play with her greyhound foster siblings.  This girl is simply a delight; a sweetheart who definitely likes to be near you.  She has proven to be trustworthy during the day while everyone is at work and has had no accidents.  She is friendly and affectionate; absolutely adorable.  If you are looking for an easy going companion to go for walks and just hang out with, Mara is your girl.  You will not regret opening your home or your heart to this little treasure.

Courtesy Listing: Murphy is a healthy, almost 8 year old, neutered, CKC registered Ibizan Hound.  He is an affectionate, gentle soul who loves to run and play. If given the opportunity, he will curl up in your lap and take a snooze.  Murphy enjoys being active and used to be a running companion, helping train for marathons.  He has basic obedience (sit, stand, lay down, stay, leash trained, etc.) and knows hand signals for those commands. Murphy is also crate trained.

Please note, Ibizan's have a lot more energy than greyhounds. They require good long daily walks and runs, lots of playtime and are not the 45 mph couch potatoes that greyhounds are.
