Initially withdrawn and preferring to keep to himself, Chenti is still very reserved, but mixing into every day life more and more as time goes on. He is very sweet, and accepts affection, but very rarely seeks it out. Chenti will trot around the yard with the other dogs, and is always a willing participant on walks. He gets very nervous if a car approaches, or if people approach, but is improving. Chenti especially loves (the resident male greyhound), and so far, the resident greyhound is the only "person"/thing that commonly gets tail wags from him. Chenti is a gentle old soul and a lovely boy. UPDATE: Chenti, or Sean for short, has come a long way during his time in foster care. Although he will never be outgoing and gregarious, a more relaxed side of his personality is starting to emerge. Sean wags his tail more often in anticipation of things he enjoys, such as food, treats, and foster mom's return home. He hangs out with his foster family when they are home, and although is still cautious with newcomers, no longer hides in the bedroom when guests are visiting. Sean looks forward to his daily walks and has even been known to romp around the yard with the resident hounds. He has learned some basic commands, including "sit", for a treat. Chenti is a gentle, sweet fellow who deserves a "forever" home with a loving family of his own.
