"The Molly Report"
Jan. 2006

Well, it is hard to believe that as of this weekend, we have had Molly for a year.

The first couple of months, were very, very difficult and we all managed to survive.   We went to Sit Happens for some training for all of us which was of great help.   Her personality really came out after that..... and we really should have named her Diva or Princess.  As Sue, will agree she is a little Princess.

Molly is motived by food and acts like we never feed her....  Darren always asks are you sure you fed her dinner.... YES, she just wants more.  She does a few tricks for her treats.... sit, down, circle, touch and between the legs... we are working on bed and stay....I hope to take her for some more training...

Of course everyone loves her and must give her some love.... She gets too many compliments on what a good and beautiful dog she is.... Like she needs any more of an ego...

Molly is good traveler.  We have been to Vernon 3 times and all the way to Vancouver once and she was great.

We went away for 2 weeks.  Thanks again Sue and Pete for looking after our princess.  She gave us the cold shoulder for a day or so..... but soon recovered...

She stills has an attitude when in a group of greyhounds for too long but gets along well with most other dogs.   She has a boyfriend Poncho (lab puppy), whom she loves to play with and this is the only time she barks is when she is getting him to play with her.  Which is a good thing as her bark is very piercing.

The girl knows what she does not like and will destroy the object of her dislike which is why we are on are third muzzle.   Thankfully this is the only object which is subject to her teeth so far...

Molly loves squeaky toys, chews,  her giant purple bunny, sleeping, scaring the occasional rabbit out of the back yard, walking, running (we run and she trots) and being loved.... Also treats, treats and more treats... if it was up to her, she would be very very over weight.  Did I mention sleeping.... if you interrupt her sleep you get that look... but it is fine for her to wake you up.

We love Molly dearly and can not image our lives with out her now.

We wish to thank you for giving her to us and thank all the people who have helped us along the way.

I have attached some of our favorite pictures (very hard to pick only a few) of Molly.  I love the one with the hat where she looks really pissed with me for putting it on.

Love Darren, Lisa Molly (Diva, Princess)

PS.... we have the perfect only dog....
